  • "On the Friday morning before Memorial Day Weekend, a friend and I were on our trip to the Red River Run. We were to meet up with a few friends at 8:30am at Pike Peaks HD, then another couple of stops to pick up other folks. The evening the before I was checking things out on my bike and found it about half a quart or so. Wil it so happened that I did not have any oil in my garage. I thought the next thing would be to arrive early and buy a quart at Pikes Peak HD on Friday morning. Upon arrival, I discovered that it was not open till 9:00am. I saw a couple of employees arriving early and asked if there was any way that I could purchase a quart of oil even though they were not open. No one from the Parts Dept had arrived yet, but a Service Technician named Brian came out with a partial quart of oil and topped me off. That act of excellent of customer service allowed us to stay on our scheduled time and relieved all the stress of the day's planned trip of being delayed. Kudo's and a tip of the hat to Brian, and also to the person that hired him. You found a great employee. Thanks again Brian, Mike------"

  • "I would like to share my experience from Labor Day weekend after staying in Manitou Springs. Rode up Pikes Peak day before Labor Day and experienced clutch issues (apparently this is common there). Anyway it was Sunday morning before Labor Day and I ended up getting towed from the top to Pikes Peak HD. I locked the bike up and left it in the parking lot as they were closed and closed on Labor Day as well. Sent an email on the website for service and got a call 45 minutes before they opened on Tuesday wanting to know where my keys were. I was enjoying a Waffle House breakfast as I figured no one would be there till the time they open. At any rate, got there and spoke with Troy in Service and he said he would get me taken care of. I was in an out in about an hour and Troy also did an upgrade with a flash drive for me the next day as we headed back to Nebraska after getting snowed in for several days. I would like to thank Troy and the entire Service Department for getting me going right away the first day after a 3 day weekend, I really appreciate the courtesy and professionalism by the staff at Pikes Peak HD and they were also under construction during this time. A+ GUYS - THANKS AGAIN from Nebraska!"

  • "20 Aug 2020 I unexpectedly found my self in need of a new battery. I showed up at PPHD around 0930, unannounced without a service appointment. Tyler was hugely helpful getting me worked into the same morning's work schedule . He set up the work order and Jonathon got me back on the road before noon. I really appreciate them both. To be sure, I have always had a great service department experience at PPHD.   • "June 17/19 my buddy and I were traveling through Gunnison Colorado heading east on Highway #50 on my 2017 Ultra HD when my engine light came on. I am not mechanical at all but but I do know you pay attention to such things. The information button on the right handle bar showed oil pressure okay. I pulled to the side of the road and checked the oil level which was okay as well. Beyond that I was "out of my knowledge level" so I located the nearest HD dealer from my Harley road atlas and immediately called them.
    Sammy at Pikes Peak Harley-Davidson in Parts & Service took my call. Sam walked me through the error codes and determined it was an oxygen sensor code that was probably set off due to the higher elevations we had been driving in that day. Sam guided me through how to clear the codes and assured me that all was well with the bike. I was GREATLY relieved!
    After 15 days on the road and about 11,000 km (+/- 7000 miles) I am safe back home having completed successfully my biggest road trip to date.
    It amazes me the level of technology that Harley has developed on their motorcycles. I did not know they had such capabilities to diagnose such issues on the road & many miles away from a qualified dealership.
    I am equally amazed at the level of knowledge and expertise of Pikes Peak HD staff for their professionalism and how Sam got me back on the road. I called in at 2:17pm and 7 minutes later the issue was diagnosed and fixed ... and I am 1 to 1.5 hours from the dealership.
    I big thanks to Sam for his help and professionalism in getting me back on the road.
